ARIO is a non-profit organization that seeks to promote cultural, professional, academic, and social interaction among Italian researchers, scholars, professionals, and entrepreneurs living in Ontario. Our members work within academic and professional institutions in fields such as the arts and humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, computer science and the medical arts. ARIO is a social networking website designed to enable its members to quickly disseminate information among their peers while promoting their scholarly and professional activities. Here members will find the fastest path to connect and converse with their peers, share information, track new data and techniques, advance knowledge within their fields, or simply come into contact with people and expertise from their academic and professional community.

Objectives                                                       
ARIO is a professional networking platform that works towards the following goals:

• To link researchers, scholars, professionals, and entrepreneurs residing and working in Ontario, and to connect members with their peers working in the academic community and in the public and private sectors in Italy.
• To assist members in seeking and sharing expertise and know-how, by offering quick, efficient, easy-to-use services in a network forum.
• To identify significant opportunities and encourage cooperation and synergies between members by providing them with a forum for launching and developing joint research projects.
• To promote joint exchange programs and coordinate activities among students, scientists, professionals, and scholars among Ontario institutions, and between Italy and Ontario.
• To advocate the dissemination of the accomplishments and successes of Italian scholars working in Ontario.
